The Phial of Galadriel was given to Frodo by the Lady Galadriel as the left Lorien. The Phial gave a bright light, which was described by Galadriel to be "the light of Earendil's star, set amid the waters of my fountain". Sam used the Phial and its bright light during his fight against Shelob.
