"Welcome to the Guided Tour of Middle-Earth Locations. My name is Bilbo Baggins and I will be your Tour Guide! Before we start the tour there are a few basic things I have to explain so that you can enjoy the tour to its full extent. Please note the following:

• If you have not read The Lord of the Rings and/or The Hobbit then this tour might be considered as a "spoiler". Although the tour does not reveal the complete story, I advice people to read the books first and then follow the tour.
• The tour will visit different locations in Middle-Earth from the quiet hobbit dwellings in The Shire to the threatening locations in Mordor. At every stop I will tell something about the location and about the major events that have taken place at that location.
• The different locations that we will visit are illustrated with text, pictures and even sounds. If you have a slow internet connection then you will have to be patient in some occasions.
• If you click on any image a new window will open that will show you a bigger image.
• If you see a link looking like this (AUDIO: Name) then this is an Audio link. Clicking on an audio link will open an new window that will play the audio. Your browser needs to support the embed-tag, otherwise the audio will not play.
