The Second Movie in Peter Jackson's interpretation of the J.R.R. Tolkien books: The Two Towers. Although this movie does not stick as much to the books as the first movie it was still received as an amazing movie with more impressive seens than the first movie.

Directors Jules Bass & Arthur Rankin created the animated movie of The Hobbit in 1977. It can be seen as the first part of a trilogy of animated movies starting with The Hobbit and ending with the Return of the King.

The Lord of the Rings Animated- Warner Studios
Director Ralph Bakshi created the first part of the Lord of the Rings animated movie in 1978. Unfortunately he never completed the second part. The First part covers the Fellowship of the Rings and the first half of the Two Towers and end quite abruptly.
